.copybon - pg 1.

So, I had this idea brewing, mostly because I haven't done any sequential work in awhile, to put together an ashcan, or a "copybon" of sequential work from artists that I know and love as sort of a self-promotional item for us. Like a business card, only more full of awesome.

was down with the idea and had the hookups to be our printing queen. was the first one I wanted to ask, considering his comics make me laugh and he does a good deal of sequential work and can work fast as hell. joined us to round out our anthology of comics, available at Animazement of 2008!

For some ridiculously cheap price, you can get a showcase of our work. The best part is if you like anything in the copybon, the artists are right there in the alley for you to compliment away!

It felt great to get going with comics again. Granted...I'm hella pressed for time between getting some art auction pieces together for AZ, getting my prints in order, and my schoolwork (lemme just emphasize here that undergrad work that I did does not hold a fecking candle to the work I'm doing now in grad school), so I didn't get to spend time on making everything -just right- but I did try a new inking style. Eh.

I'm only going to put up here the first 2 pages for a "sneak peek." Can't ruin all the fun, right?
